March 8, 1942 Inducted into service in Pittsburgh. Sent to Camp Meade in Maryland.
  Assigned 29th Division, 174th Infantry, Camp Meade.
March 9, 1943 Transferred to Batallion in ashington D.C.
June 23, 1943 Transferred to Reception Center, Camp Meade, because of a slight accident.
August 13, 1943 Transferred to Replacement Batallion at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
September 6, 1943 Transferred to 65th Infantry Division at Shelby Mississippi.
October 8, 1943 Promoted to P.F.C.
December 31, 1943 Made application for Pharmacy Corps. Application approved for Pharmacy Corps and sent to join Company D.395th Medical Corps at Shelby, Mississippi.
January 18, 1944 Awarded the Good Conduct Ribbon in Company D, Medical Battallion at Camp Shelby, Mississippi with grade: First Class Technician.
  Sent overseas, serving in Central Europe, serving for 36 months as technician 3, Phamacists. He directed and supervised Pharmacy technicians in a Division Clearing Company in France, Germany, Austria and in the Rhineland of Central Europe.
June 24, 1946 Discharged at Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania,
